About NDIS
What is NDIS?
NDIS, or the National Disability Insurance Scheme is an initiative of the NDIA to build capacity, empower people with disability, and help them meet their goals by offering them funded supports.
The NDIS allows participants to exercise their choice and control, and make the most of their developmental plan.
These funded supports aim at enhancing the ability of people with disabilities to proactively participate in the community and live as independently as possible.
As an NDIS participant, you will have a plan developed, which will be tailored to your needs, and hence, will determine your funded supports.
