Being able to travel safely, and independently, forms the true essence of living an independent life.
At Starcare, our support workers provide this support service to enable eligible NDIS participants to build capacities to travel on their own. This includes assisting them in pickups and drop-offs, using public transport, and transport-related equipment.
We understand that every participant may have different needs and abilities. Hence, we tailor our services as per your individual needs.
Our support workers can assist you in a number of ways including but not limited to:
- Picking up and dropping to school/work
- Driving you to medical appointments
- Visiting shopping centres, grocery stores, or pharmacies
- Visiting libraries, and/or local community centres
- Helping you to use public transport
- Planning holiday travels, and accompanying you if required
